Alessandra Ampudia was born and raised in the city of Lima- Perú. Ever since she was a child, she was always attracted to arts and crafts.
At the age of fifteen, she won the first place in Miscellaneous Illustration at a contest organized by DVK, a Peruvian fashion brand whose competition was aimed to introduce new prints.
Her parents' occupation allowed and gave her a chance to travel around different countries, becoming interested in new cultures and getting in touch with locals.
At the age of seventeen, she began her degree programme in Fashion Design and Management at the UPC University (Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas) in Lima, Peru.
After her first semester, she did an exchange at the SFUAD University in U.S.A (Santa Fe University of Arts and Design). During this time, she was fortunate to participate in the second edition of the SFUAD Art Fest. One year later, she became part of the Lifweek and Perumoda staff (Lima Fashion Week events ) for two consecutive years, collaborating with the organization of Peruvian and international designers.
In 2016, Alessandra transferred to Milano where she completed her degree as a Fashion Designer at NABA (Nuova Academia di Belli Arti).
One of Alessandra’s near future goals is to become a well-known print designer and visual artist. She describes her style as childish, mannish, vintage and sporty.
